There are a number of players in Europe who are known for their crosses and some of them are better than others in Europe’s top 5 leagues. Here, we take a look at the five best so far this season.

1. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) – 195 Crosses

Arguably one of the best young players in the world and marked by many to become a future Ballon d’Or winner, Trent Alexander-Arnold has emerged as the best attacking full-back in the world over past two-three years.

Just 21-years-old, many back him to move into midfield in the future as his passing and crossing numbers are second to none at present.

2. Filip Kostic (Eintracht Frankfurt) – 177 Crosses

A man who has enjoyed a resurgence in his career at Frankfurt, Filip Kostic has been one of the most impressive players in the Bundesliga over the past couple of years or so as seen by his numbers.

The 27-year-old comes in second with 177 crosses in Europe’s top five leagues this season and expect him to add to that number when the league resumes in the future.

3. Jesus Navas (Sevilla) – 177 Crosses

A surprising name on the list is Jesus Navas returned to Sevilla from Manchester City in 2017 and since then has been one of their most impressive performers and a consistent one in LaLiga.

The Spaniard has put in 177 crosses so far this season, but is yet to score a goal and will look to add some numbers to his tally once the season resumes.

4. Adama Traore (Wolves) – 144 Crosses

Another player who has enjoyed a resurgence in his career over the past couple of years has been Adama Traore who has terrorised the defences in the Premier League with his pace and power.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a return to Barcelona and a number of top clubs, though it is unlikely that he will make the move this summer.

5. Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) – 134 Crosses

The best attacking midfielder in the world at the moment, Kevin De Bruyne has established himself as one of the best in the world, thanks to his vision and skill on the ball. The Belgian can pick a pass from any part of the field, and has so far netted nine goals and registered 20 assists this season.
