The coronavirus or COVID-19 crisis has led to a complete shutdown in the world of football with all the major leagues currently suspended which has led to clubs asking their players to self-isolate while following individual training regimes at home in order to remain fit.
Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo during self-isolation has tried to keep himself entertained during this time at his family home Funchal, Portugal putting out a number of posts on social media on his activities.
The 35-year-old has taken this break to spend time with his family and once again showed just how invested he is in spending time with them sharing an early morning selfie on social media with his kids and partner Georgina Rodriguez on Saturday.
Captioning the picture, “The best way to start the day”, Ronaldo can be seen smiling broadly as he posed with twins Eva and Mateo, and daughter, Alana Martina who he has with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, the Italian soccer federation (FIGC) has reportedly drawn up plans to resume the league by the end of May or beginning of June, with the games set to be played behind closed doors.
The Federation is looking to get the clubs to resume training from May 4, where the players will be regularly tested for the coronavirus or COVID-19.
