Portugal superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly pledged to remain with Juventus till 2022 despite rumours linking him to a shock return to either Manchester United or Real Madrid in the summmer.
The 35-year-old who joined the Bianconeri from Real Madrid in 2018 for £99million is is under contract with the Serie A giants till the end of the 2021//22 season after signing a four-year contract with the Italian giants.
As per Tuttosport, Ronaldo is said to enjoy an excellent relationship with the Turin based giants and has no intention of leaving them, with the striker intending to see out his contract with them.
This news comes just days after an unnamed director of football at a top European club revealed that he would not be surprised if the 35-year-old made a move back to Old Trafford in the near future.
“Interestingly I was told by a director of football of a top club in Europe: ‘How about if Manchester United decide to go for him?’ And I said: ‘No, that cannot be possible, they actually are putting the money somewhere else, they are looking for a different type of player’,” Guillem Balague said on his YouTube channel.
“But he told me: ‘I wouldn’t be surprised’. However, I would pass on that one. I would be surprised.”
Ronaldo has enjoyed a brilliant time at his new club, scoring 53 goals in 75 games in all competitions while helping them win one league title.
