FC Barcelona have been linked with a move for Juventus‘ Miralem Pjanic in recent days, and the move seems to be inching closer as Marca reports that conditions ‘appear to be finally taking shape’, although things are still at an initial stage.
The Spanish outlet claims that the Old Lady midfielder is high on Barcelona’s list of priorities and the Catalan club see the Bosnian midfielder as a world-class addition and one who is a perfect fit to their system.

Despite being 30, Pjanic is believed to be still courted by many clubs in the world, and Barcelona are likely to face competition for Pjanic’s signature. He has been at Juventus for four years and has already clocked more than 150 appearances for the Serie A side. Pjanic has been one of the most crucial players for Juventus since his arrival in Turin.
The idea that he would be able to play alongside Lionel Messi – one of the greatest players to ever grace a football pitch – appears to reportedly be an appealing prospect for Pjanic.
FC Barcelona had previously been linked with a move for the midfielder in 2018, but the Bosnian then put pen to paper on a new contract at Juventus, that extended his contract till 2023,
These are still early days, but it appears Barcelona might see all the pieces of this puzzle coming to shape in the summer transfer window.
