There is no doubt that the transfer market will no longer remain the same after the Coronavirus pandemic is done with.
Economies around the world have been massively hit due to the issue and it will naturally affect all football clubs’ spending power in the transfer market.
Marca quote La Gazzetta dello Sport, who have reported that Inter are considering their options for potential replacements, and one of those is Antoine Griezmann.
According to the Italian publication, Lautaro’s release clause is 111 million euros, while the Frenchman’s is 120 million. Inter are waiting for Barcelona to make a bid for Martinez before starting to negotiate, but the Italian side see the difference in the cost of the two as minimal, thus, hoping for a straight swap.
However, Marca further add that Barcelona are not interested in parting ways with the Frenchman, which will make this deal pretty much impossible to happen.
Despite Barcelona’s intentions, Inter are said to be adamant in not losing their forward and vice president Javier Zanetti recently insisted he’s happy at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
