Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Kylian Mbappe will reportedly only sign a new deal with the Ligue 1 giants if they include a clause in the contract that would allow him to join Real Madrid in the future.
Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the recent past, though PSG are desperate to hold on to their star and are willing to offer him a new contract worth a staggering £600-per-week which would tie him down with them till 2022.
?️ Neymar: “Kylian Mbappé is a phenomenon. He has the potential to become one of the best players in history. To have him as a team-mate is a huge honour. We understand one another very well on the pitch and off it too. I love him!”#UCL | #MondayMotivation pic.twitter.com/GR6vPATSc7

Such is their fear that they might lose the striker that they are also willing to let him go for free in two years time and now as per AS, the 21-year-old will only pen a new deal with the club should a clause be inserted allowing him to move to Madrid should Real match PSG’s asking price.
If PSG agree to his conditions, it would be a win-win situation for both the player and the club as Mbappe would double his salary while PSG for their part would receive a massive transfer fee as the Frenchman is said to be worth in the region of 200m.
Due to the financial impact caused by the coronavirus or COVID-19, it looks unlikely that Madrid would make a move for his signature anytime soon and it looks likely that he would remain in Paris for the foreseeable future.
