Manchester United’s hat-trick hero against Sheffield United, Anthony Martial has spoken about the advantages of playing with midfield duo Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.
The Red Devils recorded an impressive 3-0 win over Sheffield in the Premier League on Wednesday with Martial becoming the first United player to score three times in a single Premier League game since Robin van Persie back in 2013.
Pogba was also able to link-up with Bruno Fernandes in United’s midfield, something which the whole Manchester United fanbase was desperately waiting for.

And while speaking to MUTV after the game, Martial spoke of the work behind the scenes that goes into forming partnerships throughout the team, especially one like Bruno and Pogba.
As reported by Manchester Evening News, speaking about Pogba and Fernandes Martial said, “They’re top players. In training we practiced the link-up a lot, today was a very good game, we created a lot of chances.”
It was the United side’s first experience of playing behind closed doors at Old Trafford, but Martial knows that United fans were supporting their team from everywhere around the globe.
He said as he concluded, “It was a little bit strange but I know they (the fans) are happy for me. It’s good to play like this.”
